- The tool warns you if you miss a step.
- Entering units in the answer field will not invalidate the answer.
- It has been tested with NN4.5 and MSIE5.0 on a pc and NN4.6 and MSIE4.5 on a Mac.

- The tool itself is compiled code (much more stable).
- It has three changing variables instead of two.
- The variables are an integral part of the problem text not form fields.
- The student receives a complete printable report with the correct answer, the student's answer and the values for all variables so that the student can document their results.
- The instructor receives an identical report via email so that the instructor at their option can review the results and use his/her judgement as to correctness in close cases.
- There is no limit on the number of problems.
