Use the calculator interface to generate your code. To produce the code for the surface area of a sphere 4*pi*r^2 you click the '^2' key followed by '*' '4' '*' and 'pi'. End by pressing the 'round' key and respond to the question by specifying the number of decimal places you want in your answer. That is all that is necessary.
